Children and Families
The focus is on building and reinforcing the family unit, encouraging positive family time and enriching the children’s learning experiences.
Activities such as homework support, computing, performing arts and sports are run for the children and family lunches, holiday activities and computer drop-in are run for parents to come alongside their children.
We also provide a 1:1 mentoring program to work with the young people to help them overcome the difficulties and challenges they face.

Men's Work
Our vision is to encourage and empower men by coming alongside them and doing life together. Through mentoring and equipping them we are enabling them to stand up and be counted as examples of leadership in the community.
Single Parents Ministry
A significant percentage of the families on the estate are single parent families. The Trust provides support to these families through single parent lunches, parenting advice, mentoring and other activities. Alongside these specific activities we support the individuals on a case by case basis to overcome the difficulties and the challenges they face.
Working with Isolated Individuals
There are a large number of people on the estate, either the elderly or through their circumstances, who have become isolated and The Trust is one of the few places where they can come together, build relationships and become part of the community.
The cafe, run on Friday mornings, provides a relaxing, peaceful place for them to come. Often isolated people struggle to engage in day to day activities but the cafe is a place enabling them to venture out of their homes, have a coffee and chat in a safe and non-threatening environment.
There is a community lunch every week, where everyone can come together, eat a home cooked meal and be part of the community.
We run a volunteer befriending scheme, linking pairs of volunteers with the isolated individuals. This scheme provides friendship as well as practical help.

Youth
We aim to increase the self-confidence of the teenagers and young adults, helping them to improve their interaction with their families, friends and the community, breaking potentially destructive life patterns. The support we give has an impact on their attendance and achievement at school and encourages them into further education or employment.
We run sports, IT drop-in, boys and girls group mentoring programs and voluntary community outreach projects. We also have individual mentoring programs.

Education
The Trust is committed to life long learning for every age group. We run all levels of ESOL (English classes for Speakers of Other Languages), IT classes for complete beginners, along with many other educational courses. These include health literacy for mothers and ‘Cook and Taste’ where groups come together to learn to cook delicious, nutritious food. We ensure that all our educational activities offer high quality and innovative learning opportunities which enrich the lives of the community.
