Volunteering at The Trust - The World's End

The World’s End has 3000 people from 80 nations speaking 50 languages. There are enormous opportunities to get involved and help out in exciting and sometimes challenging ways. We hope that reading through the following will help you see where you would like to get involved.

James 2:18
'... Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.'

Open Hands

Psalm 145:16
'You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.'

There has been a growing hunger amongst many people, groups and individuals, to get out and serve the community in a very practical way. Channelling this energy, we aim to link volunteers with social action projects allowing them to bless the community here on the estate.

The projects so far have included: Befriending the Elderly, Painting and Decorating, Furniture Removals, House Cleaning, Window Cleaning, Tutoring, Mentoring and DIY.  But the skill sets of volunteers can also govern the types of projects we arrange, so if you have a particular skill or idea you would like to offer, then we will actively find a way of using you.

The Trust Cafe (Saturday 9am - 1pm) is running along side Open Hands projects, so come along as a group, run the cafe and reach out to the community at the same time.
